Good morning, thank you, and sorry \u2013 such simple words, yet so powerful.\u00a0As many of you know, they have been included in our leadership trainings over the past 7 years. Their importance keeps surprising us, and they keep popping up in places where we didn’t expect them to be relevant – that’s why we gave them a book of their own, along with 22 other shortcuts we keep returning to.<\/p>

This is our 5th book about leadership, yet somehow it stands out from all the others. As we were writing, it became clear to us that the shortcuts we were writing regarding leadership at work are also applicable in many situations outside of the office. Shortcut #16: Ask More Questions. Give Fewer Answers
<\/strong>This shortcut is about creating teams that have the courage to take initiative, to share their thoughts and opinions, rather than just sitting on their hands waiting for you to say something. It might sound simple but you will be surprised how many times you rush in with an answer – if you follow the tips in this chapter you will create teams that can take initiative. We suggest you try it at home as well – it also works out of office.<\/span><\/p>
